Associate Professor Nazmiye Erdoğan teaches in and is the director of the Vocational School of Social Science at Başkent University, Turkey. She received her M.S. from the Department of Landscape Architecture, Ankara University and her Ph.D. from the Department of Architecture, Black Sea Technical University, Turkey. She worked as landscape architect in the industry until she became a Research Assistant at the Black Sea University in 1992. Her research interests include ecotourism, sustainable tourism, nature conservation, environmental education and behaviour. She is the author of the Environmental Problems: Causes and Solutions, and Environment and Ecotourism. Moreover, she has numerous articles in academic journals and papers presented in national and international scholarly meetings, conventions and symposiums.
