Konuralp Pamukcu


Professor Konuralp Pamukçu has a Ph.D. degree in International Relations. He conducted his graduate studies at the School of Economics of Istanbul University and the University of Texas at Austin. He has been serving as chair of the School of Business at the University of Phoenix-Chicago since 2006. His research interests are International Political Economy, Environmental Economics and Politics, Transboundary Water Disputes and Climate Change. Among others, he had headed community development projects financed by the European Union while working for the World Academy for Local Government and Democracy (WALD). He has publications on efficient use of fresh water resources, water privatization and trade, international climate change negotiations, and cities’ climate action plans.
