Centre for Policy and Research on Turkey (Research Turkey)’s public conference, entitled “New Dynamics in the Middle East: The Shadow of the ‘Arab Spring’ and Turkey’s New Directions” took place on Monday, 17 June 2013 between 6.30 p.m. and 8.30 p.m. at Committee Room 5, House of Commons, Westminster, London, SW1A 0AA.
We had a fruitful and heated debate on the Arab Spring in Middle East and dynamics in Turkey. Dr Ezrow examined the Arab Spring in the Middle East and its dynamics. Mr Yakis examined on the interaction between Syrian dynamics and Turkey’s foreign policy and he commented on Gezi Parki protests. Dr Waldman examined the Turkish politics in the light of both historical and contemporary events.
